Suzanne Jones, MBA

Suzanne Jones currently volunteers with various organizations, including her children’s schools and neighborhood association, for which she is a member of the Board of Trustees. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and also holds an MBA from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to taking a corporate hiatus to focus on family, Suzanne worked in marketing strategy for a national telecom and in consulting for a boutique general management consulting firm, both in Atlanta, GA. She spent her formative career employed in the outdoor industry while living in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.

Suzanne’s youngest child, Jansen, was diagnosed with SYNGAP1-Related Disorders in September 2021 shortly before her 11th birthday. Grateful to finally have a long sought-after diagnosis, Suzanne immediately researched information on SYNGAP1, which led to her discovery of and connection with CURE SYNGAP1. Inspired by CURE SYNGAP1’s mission to improve the quality of life of SYNGAP1 patients through the research and development of treatments, therapies, and support systems, she engaged in fundraising and volunteering. Suzanne and her husband, Brent, reside in Atlanta and are the parents of Wyatt, Porter, and Jansen.
