CURE SYNGAP1 is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our mission is to improve the lives of all patients and their families. Existing inequities and structural racism in our healthcare system cause many disadvantaged communities to be underrepresented.
As a result, we have a responsibility to reach out and intentionally include every single family, especially those who are currently unable to pursue a diagnosis or assistance. We need to understand their needs and ensure that we are supporting them as they struggle with the challenges of caring for a family member with SYNGAP1-Related Disorders.
The purpose of this board is to advise the CEO and leadership team and hold CURE SYNGAP1 to the highest standard in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
If you would like to join the board and help guide CURE SYNGAP1 with this commitment, please apply here.
We have included news articles, Warrior stories, and movies on this page. These reflect CURE SYNGAP1’s diversity, but it is our continued goal to find, support, and advocate for all SYNGAP1 families.
