Alex is a Marine Corps veteran originally from Buffalo, NY. Alex and his wife Farah reside in Southern California with their two children Oliver and Isla. Oliver was diagnosed with SYNGAP1-Related Disorders through genetic testing in February 2024. Upon receiving the diagnosis Alex and Farah connected with CURE SYNGAP1 and the SYNGAP1 community to learn more about the disorder and to learn as much as they could about SYNGAP1. Alex volunteers with CURE SYNGAP1 helping in anything related to IT and cybersecurity.
