Beata Tarasiuk lives with her husband Robert and daughters Kasia and Milena in Tucson, AZ. Beata is Polish-American, born and raised in Poland but lived the majority of her adult life in the US. She received a B.A. degree in Marketing and M.A. in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. Beata pursued her professional career in the US.

Beata’s passion is Career and Technical Education. She loves to build vocational programs and education-industry partnerships, blending High School with Community College and Industry to give young people a better start in life. She has been working in rural Arizona with diverse youth, including underrepresented populations and Native American tribes. Beata took a break from her career to take care of her first-born child when she started to show signs of delays. Kasia is a 6-year-old Syngapian and she has a 4 years younger sister Milena.

Beata Tarasiuk’s volunteer work with SRF includes: community engagement, new patient finding, and special projects. Beata is uniquely qualified to serve as a “bridge” from the US to Poland. She finds new patients in Poland and organizes the Polish SYNGAP1 community while working with global partners.
