Zoe Bailey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). With previous experience working for Child Protective Services, Zoe currently works as a Housing Liaison at the Housing and Homelessness Department in Alameda County, California. She supports various systems to secure housing for those with histories of complex mental health and chronic homelessness. Zoe received her bachelor’s degree the from University of California, Santa Barbara and her master’s at University of California, Berkeley.

Zoe and her husband Earl reside in Fairfield California with their two daughters Kaia (3) and Harper (1).

Kaia’s developmental delays were not overly concerning, but they had genetic testing to rule out any sort of genetic condition. When Kaia was diagnosed with SYNGAP1-Related Disorders in February 2023, they were shocked. Within days, the family connected with the CURE SYNGAP1. They did not get involved until more than a year later when the family decided to hold their first CURE SYNGAP1 fundraiser. After that, Zoe and Earl became much more involved as volunteers with this amazing community to help accelerate treatments and find a cure for SYNGAP1!
